As I walked into the theater I didn't expect a whole lot. I thought it might have started off a little slow, but then again it wasn't too bad. The story overall was good, and it was a different snow white tale, you could say. There were some cool effects whenever they sliced the evil guys. I liked Chris Hemsworth in this movie. I was surprised in some scenes, and it had only a couple of laughs in this mostly serious movie. I recommend this to you if you are looking for a different snow white story, and it isn't a waste of money if you are just looking for something to do. Regarding that it's PG-13-there were only some scenes that were creepy/uncomfortable, and they weren't too bad. Overall a good movie.

LOVED this movie ! I will definately go see it again and buy it when it comes out on DVD. I too wanted Snow White and the Huntsman to kiss at the end. It kinda leaves you hangin. Maybe they did it that way because they are planning a part 2 ?? That would be awesome. Can't wait for BD part 2.

This movie was very well done. Great special effects. They show Snow White to be no damsel in distress. She is a fighter. Kristen Stewart does an awesome job portraying her. It is a great movie and I would recommend it to anyone.

The movie was good but i thought Kristen could have acted a little better.. But the movie was good overall. Especially knowing the part that Kristen kinda acted like she like the brother of Revena and then goes and cuts his face then escapes. But Kristen definitly could have acted a little better especially when she was suckingup her followers for the fight between her and the queen.. lol but its at least worth seeing with the exception of the end. its great knowing she becomes the queen but she could have kissed Chris Hemsworth that would have made a perfect ending then or he could have became the king or something that involved him in the end.. but still its a good movie.. :-)

This movie was awesome! I loved the action,creatures and the evil queen was amazing and def was exactly how I would expect her to be ! We enjoyed the story and some great actors. But can't figure out how Kristen Stewart got the part. She's really not that good an actress, and her 'emotional' scenes always seem forced. The really good actors around her help her to look good. Although she does do a good job at dying. The ending felt unfinished.

I am not a big Kristen Stewart fan, but was happily surprised. Compared to the Twilight series, her acting ability has improved 100%. Charlize Theron, on the other hand, is always beautiful and amazing.
I found the movie a bit slow paced, but the special effects were amazing.
And, of course, there was a hint of a sequel.

This movie was classic fairy tale story. Movie had a little twist to it. Overall, i thought the movie was made more for teenager/adults. Cute movie. Hope they extend the next fairy tale story into a movie as well, for their sequel. Why not? Make it even more exciting. A little disappointed with the woman to woman fight scene, it was not as good. The fight could have been choreographed better.

I would recommend that you watch this movie until it comes out on DVD. you will thank me. It's a very slow story for the first half of the film. I liked that it was a fresh take on the snow white fairy tale but I think it was poorly executed. When I get sleepy in the theater is a sure sign of a flop. I'm sure the numbers will back me up in a few weeks time. I did somewhat enjoy the scene at the small bridge.

This movie definitely had potential- the cast was great, the effects were great, and the story was interesting. I had one big problem with it- the previews made it look like there would be a lot more action. The final fight was pretty anticlimactic. Considering all the buildup, I expected more than a five minute fight scene.

Cool premise / approach to the fairy tale, but a tad slow and predictable in spots, with the exception of one scene which will not be identified so as not to spoil... Some special effects were cool, others more or less 'been there, done that'... An the whole 'liquid metal effect' usage was ironic given the who played the evil princess (for all the Terminator fans).

Exciting movie and visually stunning! I loved the different take on a fairytale classic. It had the same components with dark twists. Charlize was amazing and quite evil! Kristen did a wonderful job and is probably one of her best movies to date. Chris was fantastic and rocked as the huntsman. Wish there had been a little more depth to the relationship between William and Snow White. Kristen did well with her accent. Overall great movie. I would see it again and take friends!

A classic tale set in a mystical location. Gorgeous costuming with exquisite detail. A queen to fear and remember and a heroine that steals your heart. Actors that work their craft and hold their accents true to the end. Wonderfully done!

Movie was great! Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart were awesome!
The only thing I noticed was that a couple of scenes looked like they were using a hand-held camera and the cameraman was pretty shaky! I was getting dizzy!!!

Missing chemistry between main characters; the Huntsman's character is never explained nor developed; dwarves are good but don't show up until 3/4 of the way through. Snow White never really gets to BE. Rather disappointing.

I thought this movie was wonderful! It had amazing action, just dark enough to be creepy without to much suspense and a beautiful love story without it over powering the movie and making it too mushy. It was excellent!

Visually stunning movie with good pacing and lots of action sequences. Charlize Theron is especially impressive as the evil queen and Kristen Stewart shines in the title role. Chris Hemsworth's best work to date. Hope they continue with the planned trilogy.

Two thumbs up and a middle finger to all the haters! This movie was fabulous! The filmmakers took a classic story and remade it into a contemporary masterpiece!
I'm not a fan of the Twilight films but I recognized Kristen Stewart from them. In this picture, I fell in love with her! She is incredibly beautiful, tender, and yet a heroine to be reckoned with. Charlize Theron is as wicked a queen as can be. Yet she too is gorgeous and gives a real dramatic performance. To top it all off, Chris "Thor" Hemsworth brings the might and glory to the movie!
The creatures are creatively done and the special effects are really cool too! There are moments that will just capture your heart and entertain your timeless soul!
This one was worth skipping breakfast for. It honored and respected the original tale while giving it an all new set of characters and twists and turns. It definitely delivered a lot of bang for my buck!

Really enjoyed it! Great, interesting new take on an old fairy tale. Every member of the cast is perfect in his/her role, and the special effects are awesome.Kristen nailed the British accent--at least to my American ears. I'll probably see it at least one more time, & will definitely buy the DVD. One piece of advice to parents of young children: this is not suitable for the very young, as it has some scary monsters and characters and some violence. Not too bloody or gory, though. It's just a good action movie that can be enjoyed by both men and women. I highly recommend it!

Forget all the things you remember about Snow White.
This is a dark action adventure unlike most stories from your childhood.
Very violent and well told. A must see movie!
