I had been told this wasn't that good. We really enjoyed it, and I was in anticipation the whole time, like all the Bourne movies. We loved it. It is a great continuation of the series.

Ugh ... my husband was really looking forward to this ... I will watch anything with Ed Norton... We were both let down. All the action was in the promo and the plot was ... well... I don't know what the plot was really ... that could be the problem for me.

I left the theater wondering what what missing. The action was there as would be expected, but the over all plot as well as the sub plots labored to keep our attention in-between the action scenes. The story line was well done as it tied the other three movies in nicely, but in the end what we really wanted to see was Jason Bourne. One quick shot of his picture just didn't do it for me. Jeremy Renner did an OK job, but came across as uninterested in playing this part. The fake scruff on his face was ridiculous. The support cast was fine, but I felt Ed Norton never really had enough time in the film to really impact it the way he could have...you could have cut out half the back stories and made it an Ed chasing Jeremy story which would have breathed in the much needed excitement and the connective tissue to compare to the other three films. In the end Matt Damon was sorely missed and is noticeably the glue that kept this series together. Our only hope here was the corny ending that left it open to another installment...hopefully Jason Bourne returns to help Aaron Cross right some wrongs. I suggest waiting till it comes out on DVD or PPV.

While clearly focused as a lead-in the the next 2 movies (based on the new books), this was a great reboot of the series and presented a clean transition to new characters. Filming techniques were similar (great) to the originals (even though the quick cuts and hand-held cameras make my eyes bug out sometimes). Great action... Great casting on the new characters. Looking forward to the next 2.

Where is the big fight scene? I think that a fight scene with the big Asian on the motorcycle would have been EXCELLENT. But NO! The bad guy runs his motorcycle into a pillar? That's it?? You can definitely tell that Paul Greengrass did not direct this movie.

This movie kept my interest and then it was over...
Here are my issues:
1. It started off slow with ongoing references to previous Bourne storylines and characters. Okay, I get that. That's why we're seeing the movie.
2. Soldiers are biologically and chemically enhanced but they have glitches - like computer programming bugs. Okay, I'm hooked. Show me more.
3. More clandestine operations in the works. Okay, I'm still intrigued.
4. Treadstone, Blackbriar, etc. - CIA operations gone bad. So let's kill everyone associated with these assignments off. Not cool. Really disappointed now.
5. CIA sends new and improved super spy to kill Cross and the good Dr., but he's not as super duper as Cross and gets killed. Really??
6. Dr. catches feelings for Cross in the end. Cliche - Really???
7. Pam Landry from Bourne Ultimatum gets hung out to dry by government. Maybe, I'll come back for next installation.

Go into this film with an open mind. Aaron Cross is not Jason Bourne - he's not supposed to be. Fast- paced and great acting. The story is interesting. Looking forward to the next installment. Worth seeing!

A good movie. I really liked this sequel thing (since, I guess, the bourne series has seven books in it). Jeremy Renner was awesome, and I hope he's to come in the future (and there should be a sequel to this, as well). All of the supporting actors were good, as well. The action was pretty really awesome. A good length to the movie. Jeremy Renner kicking butt. This movie was well worth watching, but there were some very violent/disturbing scenes. But overall it was a great movie.

What's satisfying about this film is that it's about justice (not revenge, as one critic said). Jeremy Renner is COMPETELY believable as the wronged super-assassin. He is as compelling, in a different way, as Matt Damon was, and very sympathetic. There are two great scenes in the movie -- as good as anything I've ever seen. One is in the kitchen of Rachel Weisz's character, where she is being debriefed by a clinical psychologist, and the other is the fabulous chase scene that brings the movie to a close. The movie definitely lived up to its predecessors, and I recommend it highly. Plus, I saw it at the Ziegfeld theater in NYC, the greatest movie theater on earth!

It's very important to see The Bourne Ultimatum before you see this movie and realize that the two are happening at the same time or you'll be a bit confused at the beginning of this movie. My wife loved it and was surprised that one reviewer gave it only 2 1/2 stars. We both enjoyed it! No girly flick reciprocation is needed after this one.

Nothing new or original in this latest installment of the Bourne franchise. Jeremy Renner is excellent, but he alone is not good enough to save this film. The rest of the actors and scenes in the "control room" looked like they were picked up from the editing floor from previous Bourne movies. It would be nice to see a covert spy actually doing some spying on bad guys rather than being considered the bad guy by his own country.

There's just too much money still in this franchise for the producers to end it, and so Jeremy Renner is stepping in to replace Matt Damon. And actually, he's quite good, although the directing now under the control of Tony Gilroy spends too much of the first half of the movie trying to explain the new premise of why they are still making Bourne films after Damon has left the building. Try to deal with the first slow half so you can enjoy the rest of the film which goes back to the action so typical in these films. Rachel Weisz is a refreshing added touch as a scientist who becomes the target of the spy agency when things go bad, and of course, the girl Renner must protect as well as his ally in making his get away. Sure its formulaic and predictable, but its still fun.

I was bored watching this movie. I kept hoping for something to happen but nothing did. the action scenes were too few and far between and also way too short. Matt damon made this character, I didn't care about any of the characters in this movie or what happened.The plot went nowhere and I found myself wishing I had stayed home and watched the Bourne trilogy on blu-ray instead. Very disappointed I don't see how anybody likes this movie.

My favorite part was when she kicked him! Yay!
I love these movies!
It left me wanting more interplay between characters in past movies with the overlapping timeline.
Don't read on if you haven't seen movie yet...
If my mental math is correct, three agents died... There were 9 to start, then there were 6, we met via movies Jason & Aaron, who is the 6th? Please let the other agent be another she.
If the franchise decision makers are reading this, please pursue integration... Jason & Nicky as well as these two characters!
