The movie is full of well shot action-packed sequences and has an intriging storyline. It does not resolve lingering questions, so it seems a sequel is a given...I'm in.

My husband and I really enjoyed this movie. Jeremy Renner, Ed Norton and Rachel Weisz were great in this movie! I was worried I would be disappointed not having Matt Damon, who was really good, but I was not. The only thing i would have liked better was if they expanded the ending by developing the personal relationship more. It was ready for it.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I only saw the original Bourne movie so some of the story line was initially lost on me. The movie could have done a better job of bringing people up to speed who've never seen any Bournes - but with that said, it was pretty easy to catch up to concept even if you didn't get all the details. The movie was well paced between action and dramatic scenes and was great for a Labor Day movie. I would definitely recommend it.
DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!! If you want a good movie do not see this!
Cons bad acting, slow
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Spectacular scenic backdrops, complicated but interesting plot, excellent acting especially Jeremy's expressions that say so much without words. The obligatory chase, fighting and suspense scenes round out the movie. I have scene it twice and enjoyed it immensely both times!

Yes, I recommend this movie.

Excellent continuation of the Bourne story line. There is not as much physical action in this movie; however, here are many action sequences. Excellent ending.
Enjoyed the movie very much. Can't wait for the next one, cause it sure left alot of questions unanserwed at the end.
Pros well paced
Cons bad ending
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I loved Matt Damon as Jason but? This has nothing to do with this post? Jeremy Renner did a good job with a lousy script> Simple as that? Never really heard of him and am sure he will be the next talked about actor when he receives a worthy script? Racheal Weisz is definitely a support to any movie! Edward Norton is capable of some serious acting? But was given the Sunday Newspaper, for a Job here? So? What I'm saying is that they didn't really need the big name for such a small part? Does Matt Damon get any bucks here for just showing his picture? Oh? And the head of the CIA or what ever the branch is called Miss Landy? Was she ever really in this movie besides a jittery camera and swift garbled move to a car in front of reporters? Anyway? Bottom line? A drug tainted super spy?? Weak! The Lock 3... I think? Super soldier that was the next Generation of Matt and Jeremy?? Please? While Jeremy was with drawing from med's? While driving fast on a Dirt Bike with Rachael Co-piloting on back of Bike? With her dealing with the Super Secret ONLY ONE Agent, swinging her helmet at, and finally ending the chase herself with a good quick leg thrust into a bridge support beam seem'ed.... Rather final??? Jeremy then collapses on bike into a Non speaking English, Asian Dad and son? Then begging them for assistance??? Then they sail away in an old Asian fishing trawler... The END??? :-)... :-(.... :-0 what?!??! Sorry don't think so! And this has nothing to do with Matt Damon? I'll bet he's even saying? " Glad I passed on the Script!?" lol
Pros great actors
Cons awful script
No, I do not recommend this movie.

The story about the 'meds' needed for these agents was really lame. It made Aaron look like a junky just trying to get his next fix. The action scenes were great however, and Jeremy Renner did his best with a character that had a not-good story line. But it was entertaining.
Cons not a great storyline
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The movie was terrible compared to the other three. He acting was soooooo bad and the plot was stupid.
For those that thought the "Bourne" saga was over... not so faaaassssst. I saw it today, thought it was very well done and wide open for at least 2 or 3 more. Jeremy Renner was perfect for the lead, Rachel Weiz was at her best , Ed Norton... what can I say, he's such a pro. Supporting actors... not a bad one in the bunch.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Granted, the bar was set incredibly high by the previous three films. But how many franchises have attempted to deliver "more of the same" in subsequent installments, only to diminish the luster of the original set? Too many to count. So, Gilroy made a few choices here. Yes, there's no Matt Damon, and the amnesia made for an interesting center of gravity in the first three. But, you can't sustain that forever. The Bourne Legacy--contrary to what many have said--is at its core a very simple story. Arguably too simple. The world is nice and taut. The "bad guys" are trying to shut down a program that affects our hero, and our hero is trying desperately not to get in the cross hairs. There are enough cool moments throughout to thrill anyone who liked any of the first three. VERY cool moments, at that. Gilroy has an incredible knack for storytelling, and a very impressive restrained approach to directing. Yes, the action scenes might not quite match the high throttle intensity of Greengrass (that bar may remain untouched for quite some time), but Gilroy's installment is a worthy follow-up. I'd be eager to see more.
Pros well paced
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Not even close to Damon's Bourne series. It is NOT because of Jeremy Renner - fault the screenplay and the director (both are the same person). Terrible.

very enjoyable movie - this was the first movie I've seen in the Bourne series, and found it to be enjoyable, if a bit predictable.
I wanted to see this movie, I have seen all the other Bourne movies, I knew Matt Damon was not going to be in it, but I figured , what the heck anyhow, If matt was in it, the ending still could have been better. Not a waste of time, the action and story were pretty good.....
