I was so disappointed that there was no mandarin . All we got was a drunk Gandhi . The movie was great leading up to that disappointing seen when we find out the mandarin was a hoax . After that the story left us hanging begging for more. "In a negative way"

Ironman 3 follows the previous two. Good movie and effects. It's a little slow for the first half but gets going after that. Its too long. They could have speeded up the first part and cut 30 minutes out of the length.
Still worth seeing!

I usually don't like sequels however this one was amazing and do I dare say even better than the first if that is even possible? This movie was funny - the one liners and downey jr is amazing. the action from start to finish. you couldn't ask for a better movie or a sequel. I recommend this movie to all. Well worth the money...

The Mandarin, the ultimate archenemy of Iron Man and one of Marvels's most iconic super-villains, turns out to be just a random crack addicted actor hired to portray a terrorist and not real at all! Then we are supposed to believe that some bronzed, blonde haired, blue eyed, surfer type dude that can breathe fire is the true Mandarin!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's like Superman waking up to find out Lex Luthor was just a dream and didn't exisit or the X-Men finding out that Magneto was just a Danger Room program and wasn't real at all. When is Stan Lee finally going to take some pride in his creations and say "No you can't change that"?

Good Movie! The reason many do not like this film is if you did not see the other 2 Iron Man films and The Avengers, some of the dialogue would be confusing or over your head.
This movie is a typical Shane Black outing, he is an action writer and director.
He could not write character studies if his life depended on it. I was not disappointed going in because I know how Shane Black works. I was ready for a good action movie that this fit the bill. Here's hoping the next Iron Man movie will following more of the comic stories and bring us some of the better villains from the comic series. When this comes out on Blu Ray I will add it to my collection because I like Iron Man and Robert Downey Jr has captured the character nearly perfectly.
Like the movie for what it is pure action, and they did a good job keeping the story together with so many little twists going on.
Also very happy Don Cheadle got more to do in this film, he always turns in a good performance and hope the next film has him fighting side by side with Iron Man even more.

Iron Man 3 brings humor and humanity to the slate in the third installment of the Iron Man franchise (not including The Avengers). The visual effects are delightful(nothing groundbreaking), the acting is satisfactory, and as for the story, I found it very intriguing and found it very renewing and freshening for the Marvel movies and Iron Man movies. I didn't have any problems with the story and the direction that Shane Black took. The dialogue was more witty and humorous than the other two, and possibly even The Avengers. If you enjoy Marvel movies and/or comic book/superhero movies you will love Iron Man 3. Robert Downey Jr. is good as always as his Iron Man character. I enjoyed this one more than the second one and the first one was just as good (even though they are very different). Good superhero/comic book movie. Good Marvel movie. Good beginning of summer of movie. If you like Marvel movies, you will love it. Fairly good pacing and run time. Iron Man 3 delivers.

This was my first time seeing Iron Man and I'm hooked!! Robert Downey, Jr. won my heart! Gwyneth Paltrow was outstanding! Don Cheadle was amazing! Guy Pearce was incredible! (did I cover everyone?) If not, they were fantastic too! Loved everything about this! Loved that Tony Stark showed some weakness and vowed his true love. Loved that Pepper was a hero in her own way. Loved that the kid was a friend when Tony needed someone. Well done!! Well done!!

I loved this movie! My husband and I are both huge superhero fans, and we were worried about this one. We both loved the first one, and I thought the second was amazing, even though we had to watch Tony Stark on his down hill spiral in the beginning, which was so sad. Well we were both concerned of all the sadness that was possible in this movie (knowing the comic book stories). Well no one could be a better Tony Stark, then Robert Downey Jr. They even have a great interaction with him and a child, where he is himself, yet still is great for the kid. Gwyneth is a bad ass Pepper Potts :) (We named our puppy Pepper Potts, years ago, after the first movie) The 2 of them have created a great love story. You see in both their eyes, he needs and loves her with everything he is, and she feels the same. She's his lobster :) Guy Pearce... what can I say, if you have ever seen the Count of Monte Cristo... then you know, what a great bad guy he can be, and he doesn't disappoint. Don Cheadle is better in this one, and Jon Favreau is the perfect Happy. The effects are spectacular. Don't miss, I might see you there as we will be going back a few more times before we bring it home on Blu-Ray.

By far the best Iron Man and I enjoyed it even better than the Avengers! I've always loved Robert Downey, Jr. But he gets even more brilliant with each movie progression. LOVED IT!!!
