I took two 9 year-old girls to see this and they really enjoyed it. Jim Carrey is always a hit, although it's pretty much like Baby Boomers, except with penguins. A really cute way to spend the day with your daughter and her friend. Not sure why it's rated PG - nothing inappropriate.

We took 2 10 year olds and they rated it a 4. They compared it to the book they read in school and found it was totally different. We enjoyed it, lots of good funny stuff. Overall rating of 4 stars. =)

It started off a little slow especially for our 5 year olds, but once those penguins started to arrive it was cute and funny as could be. I found myself laughing out loud so many times, I couldn't control it, Jim Carry made it so funny with his expressions. Those penguins were quite the hit. So I can say I honestly loved the movie and was surprized because it takes alot for me to laugh out loud like I did.

Grandkids (ages 5, 10 & 12) all thought it was funny. I thought the language did not have to include vulgarity. It was funny without it. But that said, we all enjoyed it. I am not a hugh fan of Jim Carrey, but he did a decent job. The penquins stole the show.

I am a Jim Carey fan when he is on and in this movie he is on- very funny things are happening all the way thru and the penguins almost steal the show. They are great and it is amazing what they can teach them for a few fish. Take the family, take anyone you want and have a good time - as you know I do not reveal plots so I don't ruin things. This is a fun movie and my 18 year old daughter loved it as well.

The moment Jim Carrey appeared on the screen I got a sick, nauseating feeling in my stomach that lasted the entire movie. Listening to Jim Carrey talk is comparable to nails screeching on a chalkboard. In fact, that sound is insulted that it's being compared to the excruciating agony that is Jim Carrey's voice. His sickening facial expressions make me want to claw my eyes out, jump out of 3 bridges at once, cut off my own arm, and hang myself with a poison ivy leaf of thorns while also over-dosing on cocaine. I hope that this warning will save the lives of those who read because too many have died due to the torment caused by this abominable film( if you can even call it that).

i loved this movie! im 22 and i went with my mom to watch it. we cracked up the whole time, and so did the other movie goers! i highly recommend. you can even bring your youngest kids to watch it. it is a very clean movie and totally appropriate for all ages. i am actually waiting for this movie to come out on dvd so i can buy it. i think that this is one of jim carreys best movies!

My 10yr old son and his buddy loved the movie. After leaving the theater, they both could not stop talking about the penguins, what they did and who they liked the best. Jim Carrey being so animated I was confident the movie would be entertaining, however the penguins definately stole the show.
We’ve had the book at home for some time now. My son never had the desire to read it. Now after seeing the movie, it gave him enough motivation to pick it up and start. Any movie that can inspire a child to read is good thing.

I took my fiance to see this movie for his 20th birthday (at his request). We both loved this movie. I, personally do not normally like Jim Carrey, but this movie was really awesome! I've never seen him play a role with such warmth and heart. This is a great movie and one that I would recommend to anyone with any aged children.

We don't have children, but we have a love for penguins...and it's definitely a family movie!!! it was cute, and as always, Jim Carrey delivers a great family performance!!! Although, the penguins do steal the show!!!
