I came with some expectations for the movie because of the big budget and shankar, rajnikanth. The movie was a huge disappointment for me. For the 150+ crores they have spent on this movie it could have been made better. Shankar was disappointing compared to his earlier movies Muthalvan and Gentleman.

The first half of the movie was really great but after intermission the movie was extremely stretched out. However, the graphics towards the end was really amazing for an Indian movie and quite creative. Most of the songs were good except the Kilmanjaro song, which seemed completely absurd. But a must see movie.

Definitley a must watch, excellant job thalaivar !! and Shankar but only for his CGI. Being such a die hard fan of SS I have to accept I was a little dissapointed with the screen play and the scope given for SS towards the end, being a scifi thriller and SS playing a role in it his villain chracter should have been introduced a little earlier and some boring sequences and songs could have been avoided. I dont mind to sit for 20 more mins to watch SS as a villain which you never get to see normally. Whatever said it is a milestone in Indian cinema and as thalaivar indicated its first of its kind .... so go for it.

honestly we expect too much from enthiran,but the movie didnt meet that expectation. Thalaivar is superb and shankar did great job. A.R.Rahmans music is really disappointing , and it stops the flow of the whole movie every single time. Enthiran is not that a great movie ,but its fun to watch one time.

Endiran, as the name states Robot / Machine ,the character chitti babu rules the screen while all other characters of the film fade in the background. AR's background music to the robot were excellent. Rajni fans could have got more of his usual style from a director like Shankar.Worth watching it once for the graphics and effort of Shankar's team.

The movie has the highest quality graphics, that you will ever get to see, which is a first time for Indian cinema. Rajini has played his roles to perfection, especially the negative roles. Aishwarya after looking old in Raavan, looks much better in this movie and has done a good job. Rahman's music was top class. Shankar's direction, ability to stick with the script and picturization of Kilimanjaro was awesome! Overall a great movie and not to be missed!

The movie is ultimate. The acting by super star Rajini (especially the "Chitti upgraded version 2.0") is unbelievable. It's great that he can deliver such a performance & give such a great hot at the age 60+. Only he can do that.
Direction by Shankar is ultimate. He made India Cinema proud. Everything (Music by ARR, special effects, camera, choreography, stunts, art, etc.,) about the movie is great.

Movie was good for adults. Since this movie wasn't rated we couldn't tell whether to take the kids or not. When we did, the kids were scared of watching some scenes. I wish it was rated. Also, the ticket price was too high. Especially the age limit starting at 3. Not worth it to watch with kids. I believe it is not appropriate for kids at all. Too much graphics/violence....

when i saw somebody in the TV saying the movie was not good, i was very surprised. then i went and watched it. i am one of those crazy super-star fans with a decent moral eye for good and bad movies. the effort that went into this movie and the overall turnout was just spectacular. this is not your usual Rajni movie in which our star turns the world upside-down in one song. he can do that and i will still be watching. this is a very different movie with a little darkness and deep seeded violence in the backdrop that i have never seen in a usual Rajni movie. other than that the movie was excellent. go watch it. if you dont like, go hike.

Amazing scientific fiction movie made in India!! The first half is simply brilliant!! The second half is fantastic!! With Rajini in almost every frame of the move, it is a great treat for Rajini fans. He has done a fabulous job in the robot role!! It is not by accident that he is the super star!! He absolutely deserves that title and honor!! Aishwarya Rai is a delight as always. Dialogues and humor are also very enjoyable!! Can compete at international level for the best scientific fiction, if some of the masala is removed!!
