The movie was uplifting, inspirational and appealing to all ages. It sends a positive message that people working together for a cause larger than themselves can bring out the best in a community enriching the lives of many while growing personally themselves. Chemistry between the actors was execellent and really draws you into this heartwarming story. Two big thumbs up on this one.

The movie picked up once Morgan Freeman showed up but prior to that it was dragging and predictable. Real Hollywood yawner. During the credits the REAL kids were shown during the playing of the "actual" footage and appeared to be older then their on screen actors. If Hollywood would have used age appropriate actors some of the dialog would have made since. Nonetheless it is a good story and a good family movie just seemed DVD quality instead of movie theater quality.

A bunch of us gathered together to go see the opening of Dolphin Tale. My daughter who is nine years old was hoping to see me, but it was so brief she missed it. It was fun to share the viewing with close friends and see so many people that I met and became friends with while working on the set. Great movie....beautiful story and well done!

We homeschool and went out on Homeschool Movie day with our group to support this film. I took 4 kids ages 6-13 and they all loved it! It is a great story about compassion and family. Take tissues! I cried all the way through it! We did get to see it in 3D and it was very cool. If you are looking for a great family friendly film this movie will not disappoint! No language or innuendo like most other "kid" movies these days. Just a clean, sincere family film. My kids have been on Winters Website constantly since seeing the movie and are begging to go see it again! My only wish was that there were more great family freindly movies like this and the movie Soul Surfer out there!

Dolphin Tale is a truly inspirational story. After reading books or watching movies, I often ask my kids, "what is the message behind the story?" Dolphin Tale evoked responses such as determination, courage, never giving up, friendship, love, and that we can overcome adversity and obstacles.
I laughed, I cried...this was a touching story, even more so knowing that Winter is a real dolphin. In fact, we are now headed in a few weeks to Florida (from the NorthEast) to visit Winter at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium!

We went to this movie as a family knowing that this was filmed and orginated in our back yard (being from Tampa) but we loved the move. What an amazing movie!!! I could not wait to see this, and the opening date just happened to be on my birthday!!! My husband and I went the first day it opened, and we were so glad we did! From the first moment to the last, Dolphin Tale is beautiful in every sense of the word. There are times for tears, laughs, but most of all, triumph. Dolphins are such sweet creatures, but Winter is sweeter than sweet! She's gorgeous, funny and so engaging! I love everythng about this movie, and I will buy the DVD the moment it's released. The movie even shows a website where you can watch Winter all the time at her Florida home. This is one of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen!!! I highly recommend it.
