I took my little girls to see this and not only did they enjoy it so did I. The story line was good and I had a lot of cute comedy. I definitely recommend this movie.

I really enjoy Burton's animated films..especially this one. Clever dialogue , a great tribute to horror movies of old, The art direction is goth and cool. Many funny and tongue in cheek scenes..good for adults.

Very much a Tim Burton movie. If you appreciate the artistry that goes into this type of movie, and you want a good story then this is worth seeing (although I don't know about that for IMAX prices).
We took our 11 year old grandson, he enjoyed it and didn't have any problems with it. He's not much of one for horror movies and in the past some have bothered him. It was obvious from the sounds around us that any child under 8 was having problems with the movie or didn't understand what was going on. Personally we wouldn't recommend it for any child under 10, but that's our "Senior" opinion.

Just saw "Frankenweenie" it was so good!!! I love Tim Burton!! I have never seen anything of his that I don't love, "The Nightmare Before Christmas" "Corpse Bride" "Alice In Wonderland" "Coraline" just to name a few, they are all good!! This cartoon movie is in Black and White like "The Nightmare Before Christmas" its in the same story line as "Frankenstein" but with a dog. I love that this is a Disney movie. I didn't see it in 3D, because 3D makes me dizzy. I hate that all the Cartoon movies and some live action movies are going 3D. But anyway if you like Tim Burton then go see this movie!!!

I was really looking forward to this movie. I loved Nightmare Before Christmas and other Tim Burton movies. This one had great special effects but the story just didn't go anywhere. It had potential at the beginning but kind of fell apart as it went along.

Kids laughed. parents laughed. This truly is a movie for the entire family. Adults taking their kids to see an animated movie will be pleased with the subtle reminders of horror movies past while being at ease with the lessons implied and the gentle application of both from the imaginative mind of Tim Burton.

This is classic, back-to-his-roots Tim Burton where the weird world of curious children triumphs and inspires disconnected adults. I appreciated the numerous nods to classic horror films and, of course, Frankenstein writer Mary Shelley.

Come on folks... in this day and age, a black and white animation? Just goes to show how much the movie folks at Disney respect our patronage.
Besides the 'color' let down... the story-line just wasn't what I expect when I take my kids to see a Disney film... don't encourage this style with your hard earned dollars folks... just have your kids wait until it's available at a more reasonable fee than what a trip to the theater cost.

My son and I really liked this movie. I usually don't like movies like this and was hesitant to see it. I'm so glad I went because the movie had such a good story. Very well written.
